About the doctor
Dr. Carissa Haverly, DVM
Dr. Carissa Haverly grew up in Prescott, Arizona, a small town with a rich cowboy history tucked into the Arizona chaparral. As a child, she dreamed of being an artist, which suited her sensitive and creative demeanor. However, her parents must have known she was meant to be a veterinarian because the name Carissa means “a tender touch.”
What we do
Serving the Southwest Metro area, within 15 miles of Chanhassen and Chaska.
Saying goodbye to your pet in the comfort of your home or yard helps relieve the anxiety and stress of travel and uncertain environments. This allows your pet to be more comfortable, and for you to spend time together and grieve in the privacy of your own home.
When a pet is facing a life limiting illness, hospice care helps to keep him or her comfortable and help you enjoy your time together. Palliative care is provided when a pet has a chronic illness that needs special time and attention dedicated to his or her comfort.
Quality of Life Consult
It’s hard to know the right time to say goodbye to a beloved pet. Through this phone consultation, Dr. Carissa will discuss your pet’s quality of life with you.
What Drives Us
Our mission is to strengthen the bond shared between pets and their owners. We promise to provide excellence in care, compassion, and empathy as we help guide your pet’s life to a gentle and dignified close.
